What is UberGames?
UberGames is a group of like-minded people from around the world who all share a love of video games and their ever-evolving industry. It's in no way an official company or some such, but just a casual group of people all operating out of various countries including America, Canada, England and Australia.
Who created UberGames?
The concept of UberGames was created by Dominic 'Phenix' Black and Timothy 'TiM' Oliver near the end of 2003. The actual name was coined by Dominic when he realised the need came about to have a name that represented the combined efforts of the two on their first collaborative project: EF Kill Tracker 2.
What is UberGames' Goal?
The primary goal, and the reason the name UberGames was created, is to allow this group of people to collaborate on various game related projects and subsequently release them to the public under a single recognizable title. The type of projects range greatly, originally starting from small utility applets, but now ranging up to full game modifications.
What is the Future of UberGames?
With the advent of the UberGames website, it is now much easier to publish these projects online and it is hoped that many people find them useful in their gaming adventures. The members of UberGames will continue to do research and endeavour to learn more about development, so that better and better projects can be undertaken in the future. This is done in anticipation of trying to realise another goal: to have UberGames complete and distribute a full game of its own.
