General Posting Guidelines

As is the case with many of today's fine facilities, there are a few simple guidelines in regards to posting that we would appreciate that you follow.
These apply to all of the boards in the UberGames forum.


1. No Swearing
It's our vision for this forum to remain a clean one where it's acceptable for all kinds of people to participate. Because of this, we request that explicit profanity is kept to a minimum. As for less explicit curse words, that is a matter of moderator discretion.

2. No Flaming
We will not tolerate members flaming other members or any particular groups. This includes calling people names in a derogatory fashion, and screaming using all caps. If you get fired up, wait a while and play a game to blow off steam.

3. No Trolling
As much as we appreciate you coming on the board, if your only goal is to act like a n00b, we'd rather you didn't.

4. No illegal/explicit content
Keeping in line with keeping this forum a clean one, we kindly request no mention of illegal activities are conducted on this forum. This includes talking about downloading copyrighted material like warez and emulators as well as explicit content like pornography.

5. No racial or religious slurs
Racism of any kind isn't tolerated, nor is insulting another person's religious beliefs. I think this is one point we'll be watching quite carefully.

6. Try to limit fluff
If you can, please make your posts count as much as you can. Posting generic text-book statements without any meaning pretty much only makes the page scrolling take longer.

7. No advertising monetary products
This is mainly directed towards spambots and other viral infiltration-type people.
If your only goal for coming and signing up on this forum is to advertise some kind of purchasable product, then you're not welcome.
All of your offending posts as well as any advertising info in your account will be deleted. We also reserve the right to delete the account at our own discretion as well.

8. Play nice. Be responsible
Just remember that if you see something not kosher, don't try and take it into your own hands, report it to an admin or a moderator and they'll take care of it as fast as they can.


Finally, I would say that overall, whether or not a post violates any of these rules is ultimately up to the discretion of the admins and moderators.

As such, we reserve the right to edit or remove any posts that may be doing so.
