Elite Force RPG-X: Classes
When a player joins an RPG-X server, they are presented with the choice to select a class. Depending on which class they choose will ultimately dictate the role they
will be performing in the roleplay session.
These are the main classes that are present by default in RPG-X.
Command
| Command officers are responsible for the continued running of a starbase or starship, by allocating the duties of the rest of the crew in an efficient manner. They also have tactical and intense leadership training, allowing them to take decisive action in the event of an emergency. |
|
Science
| The science department refers to any resources or crewmembers of a starship or starbase who are dedicated solely to expand known scientific understanding of the universe through observation and experimentation. Science officers themselves are responsible for investigations and research into all the fields of science, some specialising in a particular area, thus producing new theories or proving some that already exist. |
|
Medical
| The medical department is responsible for ensuring the continued physical and psychological health of the crew of a starship or starbase, by diagnosing and treating illness, assessing the mental state of patients and caring for wounded. Officers who are members of the medical department are responsible for caring for the crew's general health, and include doctors, nurses, scientists, counsellors and psychologists. |
|
Engineering
| The Engineering division is considered to be the backbone of any starship or station. The engineers maintain, repair, and operate the propulsion, power, defensive, sensor, and scientific systems on-board their ship or station. Engineers are required for any starship to efficiently run. |
|
Security
| Starfleet Security provides a starship or starbase with crew members dedicated to defensive or offensive operations. Their primary role is to provide a starship or starbase with adequte crew defenses against boarding parties and other hostile forces. In an offensive role the security officer is trained to board, capture, and maintain control of an enemy ship, station, or installation. |
|
Alien
| Aliens are simply characters who are not members of Starfleet. They can be aligned with any other galactic power and act out in such a capacity. |
